FRINGE EVENT – ST. MARTIN CELEBRATIONS

St Martin's Day, observed on 11 November, is an age-old tradition in Slovenia. In the past few decades, the celebrations have grown from informal celebrations for family and friends, to public events organised by towns and cities all over the country. In Bled, the initiatives organised for St. Martin Celebration are an opportunity for sharing “old and new” traditions and for an intercultural exchange between all communities of the area. Among these, a traditional market will be organised by Bled local producers, under the motto “Taste Bled”, in which GEMS participants will have the opportunity to experience the richness of local culinary culture and traditions.
