The Chemical Processes and Energy Resources Institute (CPERI) of the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) opens its doors to the public on October 17th from 10.00 to 14.00.
The OPEN DAY will give visitors the opportunity to tour around the institute’s premises, discuss with the staff and learn more about its research.
During the tour, the institute’s scientists will guide visitors through the latest technologies and laboratory equipment used for fuel, ash, and wastewater utilization analyses. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the institute’s pilot units, including the biogas production and carbon dioxide capture processes.
In addition, visitors will be introduced to cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printing, drone applications, and computer science, including artificial intelligence. Lastly, an informative audiovisual presentation will highlight the establishment and development of the H2 Innovation Hub and Green Energy Technologies in Western Macedonia, a significant project in de-lignification and energy transition.
All researchers and technical experts of the CPERI will be available to provide information and raise awareness to the public, regardless of age.
